Structure Composition

Disposable human arterial blood sample collector (hereinafter referred to as collector)S-3 comprises a sample clamp, a pull rod, a piston, a piston vent valve, a seal, a blood sample needle, a needle cover and a cubic plastic block. Storage Of Specimens

• Our blood contains breathing active cells (such as white blood cells and reticulocytes) that continue to consume oxygen to produce CO2 after sampling. When normal arterial blood samples were stored at 37℃ in vitro, PACO 2 increased by 1 mm Hg every 10 minutes and pH decreased by 0.01. Therefore, blood must be sent for examination immediately after collection. In general, the time from sampling to testing completion should not exceed 30 minutes.
• In case of special circumstances, it cannot be confirmed immediately, it should be stored in ice water containers or refrigerators, but the storage time should not exceed 2 hours. Please wait a few minutes at room temperature before measuring. 0.014, PaO2 and PaCO2 will also have an effect on the pH value as the temperature increases by 1℃.

Usage Method

1. Select the human artery and take out the disposable human artery blood sample collector.
2. Pull the rod to the blood volume position for pre-collection.
3. Remove the needle, pass through the artery, and arterial blood comes out naturally.
4. When the arterial blood reaches the preset position, the piston discharge valve closes when wet and the blood collector is pulled.
5. Activate the safety device (insert the needle into the cube plastic block to avoid sheath pressing or accidental puncture) and remove the needle.
6. Tighten the seal and leave it for testing.

Contraindication

1. Anticoagulation therapy;
2. Patients with severe peripheral atherosclerosis;
3. Coagulation disorder;
4. Patients with a history of postpuncture vasospasm;
5. Samples should not be taken from sites of inflammation, suppurative infection, sclerosis, scarring, or skin disease.

Precautions, Warnings and Suggestive Instructions

Warning

• They need to collect blood samples for use. Be careful when using blood samples and equipment. Please wear qualified rubber gloves to avoid direct contact with blood. The whole process of blood collection should adopt aseptic technology to prevent the infection of blood collection site.
• If there are any bubbles in the collector, remove them immediately and seal the sampler.
• Flip the collector a few times and then roll the palm of your hand back and forth a few times for the blood samples to mix smoothly.
• Do not store blood samples or reduce storage time. If immediate testing is not possible, it should be stored in a 4°C refrigerator and blood samples should be tested within 30 minutes of blood collection
